The Last Day

Other than the loss of our darling Tallulah Mae, 2017 was a very good year! Fun, family, travels, butterflies, yoga, rummage sales, cocktails...and lots more!

 Yay! An over-the-top Christmas display! (And there is music, too!) Love. It!

Old School

 Wow! I know I've written about this before, but I LOVE these outdoors poinsettias...they remind me so much of old L.A./Hollywood (you see them planted in the courtyards of old bungalow compounds; they have probably been there since at least the 1920s).

This amazing plant is next to a late teens/early twenties house, so it was probably planted not long after the house was built. Love!

Casa de Pancakes

 We love a good old-fashioned breakfast restaurant/diner. This one LOOKED the part...food was only so-so (and the coffee was, in the time-honored diner tradition, WRETCHED). Still, glad these places still exist and am happy to give them our business.

Awe

 Winter sunsets...they can't be beat. This got even more amazing down near the horizon, but I was driving (stopped at a light to take these!) and couldn't get a good photo.
