The Tenth Circle

...of Hell.
Or "Las Vegas" as it is known (most sincere apologies to all of you--and this includes my family--who adore Vegas. To each his/her own, right? I know there are places in this world that I love that others simply can't stand or wouldn't dream of visiting...).

I was there on Saturday for the wedding of my sweet niece and her fiance. She was a most beautiful bride and he was a most handsome groom. But Las Vegas? Um, ick.

I was there once before more than 10 years ago, and B. and I (and my parents) actually had a
really fun time: we saw the Liberace Museum; an Elvis impersonator; Hoover Dam; the neon sign graveyard; and the Flying Elvi. It was fun--once.

You know I love Vegas, especially the 'old' Vegas. I remembering when the parking lots were dirt and gravel and adjacent to the casinos.

See you tomorrow! D.

It's one of those places that I feel stressed over if I don't have a SUPER FANTABULOUS GOOD TIME.
